Jill lives in Calgary with her husband and three young boys. Inspired by the stunning colours, shapes and beauty of both natural and urban environments, Jill's work is most often characterized with saturated colour, texture and movement. The concepts of physical and emotional movement and change remain a fundamental theme throughout her work. Her acrylic and mixed media paintings often include song lyrics, quotes or poems on the back to express the emotion connected to each piece.
Jill's hope is that you see or feel something familiar in a different way through her work, that you will be drawn to it and allow yourself the time to explore why.
